Got to take my hat off to Anthony Stevenson and Come and Take It Productions for re-establishing an insanely killer venue here in south Austin called Grizzly Hall on East Riverside.
The night started out with Cerebral Desecration. I've had the pleasure of sharing the stage with these heavy weights of the Live Music Capital plenty of times, so I wasn't surprised that they killed it. They are one of the best Austin Texas has to offer.

Up next was Flesh Hoarder: extreme death metal killers to harpoon you right in the chest, twist it and rip it out spilling your guts all over the floor. Mike Deleon and the boys always deliver. Wow what a great set!
8:45 Detroit rockers, Child Bite just recently were signed by Housecore Records. Impressive post punk / hardcore sound. The singer Shawn Knighttjumped up and down like a psycho circus clown all over the stage. So much energy on that stage. Unique sound and great performance!

Battlecross at 9:45. Holy shit! If you haven't had the opportunity to witness the awesome power of these guys I highly recommend them! Singer Kyle "Gumby" Gunther is a thin frail looking guy with an overgrown Grizzly Adams beard. Looking at him you wouldn't expect the extreme vocals, but man does he deliver to the third power. And the dueling guitars of Tony Asta and Hiran Deraniyagala have a thrash pick attack and blistering solos. Rounding it off with the bulldozing bass of Don Slater and drummer as well.
10:45 Superjoint. With the swamp sludgy heavy metal sound, right out the gate will rip the listener a new one. Hands-down one of Heavy Metal's best kept secrets. Such an underrated band with skin shredding riffs of guitarists Jimmy Bower and Kevin Bond, furious rhythms of bassist Stephen Taylor, and the extremely killer drums of Joey "Blue" Gonzales to boot. There is no denying the legendary, over the top heavyweight vocals of Phil Anselmo.
